These terms govern your use of MixStays. By using the site you agree to them. They're written to be readable — the gist is simple: MixStays is a free planning tool, and any actual booking happens between you and the hotel.
1. What MixStays is
MixStays is a free tool that helps you find a cheaper way to stay several nights in a city by splitting your stay across hotels. It shows nightly price estimates sourced from third parties and computes an optimized itinerary. MixStays is not a travel agency, booking platform, or payment processor.
2. We don't sell or book rooms
MixStays does not sell hotel rooms, take reservations, or handle payments. When you're ready to book, you do so directly with the hotel or a booking site of your choice. MixStays is not a party to, and has no responsibility for, any reservation, transaction, or agreement you make with a hotel or third party.
3. Prices are estimates, not guarantees
Prices shown are indicative figures pulled from third-party sources (such as TripAdvisor) at the time of your search. They can change, sell out, or differ from what you're offered at the point of booking, and may exclude taxes, fees, or conditions. Always confirm the final price and availability on the hotel's or booking site's own page before you pay. We don't warrant that any price or result is accurate, complete, or current.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use MixStays for personal, non-commercial trip planning. You agree not to:
- scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the service;
- overload, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure;
- resell, redistribute, or build a competing product from our output; or
- use the service for anything unlawful.
5. Availability
MixStays is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, and searches may occasionally fail or return no result — for example when a data source is unavailable.
6. Intellectual property
The MixStays name, logo, and the design and code of this site are ours. Hotel names, imagery, ratings, and price data belong to their respective owners and sources and are shown for informational purposes.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MixStays is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its results — including price differences, unavailable rooms, booking outcomes, or the cost and inconvenience of changing hotels. Your decision to book, and to move between hotels, is your own.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
